Hello, and welcome to TropicalPlants.com.  We started out with one baby fruit tree in our backyard. Then another, then another. Suddenly our passion grew until one day... we had created magnificent gardens in our front and back yard, including tropical plants such as bromeliads, philodendron, agave, calathe, fruit trees, palm trees and more.

Having successfully built a few previous internet companies and being hapily married for almost 30 years, we were itching to start another venture. We figured our next logical step would be to create an eccomerce site with something we truly have a passion for - Tropical Plants.

Fun Facts about Leslie: 

• “Having the tenacity of a bulldog” is how Leslie’s teacher described her sales and marketing ability, having accumulated the highest revenue ever in yearbook sales.
•  Absolutely loves gardening, gourmet cooking and baking, as is happiest when entertaining close friends.
• Swims 1 mile 3x per week and enjoys yoga.
• Proudest mother of 3: oldest daughter is an Astrophysicist, middle daughter is attending dental school and our son is at college studying business & hospitality.

How can selling tropical plants & trees HELP and CARE for others?

We are publically make a pledge and a committment.  TEN PERCENT (10%) of the net income of every sale will be donated to a charity of our choice. YES, you read that correctly 10%
